Tollgard at HIX 2026: a hotel room with Paragon Studio

A hotel room is a room a stranger designs for you to live in, if only for a night.

At HIX 2026, Paragon Studio is building one. Their stand at ExCeL London is a hotel room in miniature, set up to show how fitness and wellness can live quietly inside a guest suite rather than in a basement gym. We’ve lent five pieces to furnish it.

About Paragon Studio

Designing wellness.

Paragon Studio makes bespoke gym equipment from natural materials, for the world’s most considered interiors. At HIX they’re launching in-suite fitness and wellness kits for hotels. The equipment sits in custom drawer inserts, so a guest opens a chest of drawers and finds a place to train. It’s an idea we recognise: the best wellness spaces don’t announce themselves, they’re simply there when you need them.

Celato chest of drawers, De Castelli

Where the equipment lives.

Celato takes its name from the Italian for “concealed”. That suits it here, because Paragon’s bespoke trays sit inside its drawers. Made in Italy by De Castelli, its metal surfaces are worked by hand, so no two finishes are quite the same.

Heiko chairs, Riva 1920

A chair of our own.

Heiko was designed by Tollgard & Castellani, our own design partnership, and is made by Riva 1920. It has a solid wood frame on three visible legs, with a curved seat and back upholstered in leather or fabric.

Pebbles table, Riva 1920

Solid wood, edge to edge.

Designed by Terry Dwan for Riva 1920, Pebbles has a top of solid wood staves joined edge to edge, set on a slim iron leg. At 80 centimetres across it suits a room where space matters.

Ekero side table, Porada

A small piece with a long memory.

Also by Tollgard & Castellani, and part of our Archipelago collection for Porada. A solid walnut top rests on a marble base. It’s named after Ekerö, near Stockholm, where Staffan grew up.

Frenchman Street side chairs, Man of Parts

For the conversation by the window.

Designed by Sebastian Herkner for Man of Parts: a solid oak frame, upholstered in fabric or leather, and an easy chair to spend time in.
