Free standing and free from conventions.
In order to satisfy this longing and meet his own expectations, Sebastian Herkner simply created a new category of furniture: the Miles pouflongue is part footrest, part chaise longue and one thing above all else: a small, freestanding island for one or more people.

DESIGNED BY
Sebastian Herkner
Sebastian Herkner is a German designer and a graduate of HfG Offenbach University of Art and Design. In 2006, he founded his eponymous studio, where his work spans furniture, objects, interior architecture, and exhibition design. His approach is defined by a deep appreciation for traditional craftsmanship, combined with a curiosity for modern technologies and a bold exploration of colour, materiality, and texture.
