A dining chair built on a solid wood frame, turned, assembled and sanded entirely by hand. Jamie Durie's design runs woven strips beneath the seat and across the backrest and arms — a pattern that reads as ornament and works as structure.
In fabric, the strips carry a structural support inside, so the seat gives a little without losing its line. The frame comes in walnut, oak or iroko, with a choice of leathers and fabrics; specified in iroko with the Patio outdoor fabric, it is made for outdoor use.
