Bruma is Italian for mist, and the collection began with a still winter day — a soft haze arriving slowly until it had enveloped everything. The glass is worked by hand using the cast glass technique into semi-transparent modules with a slightly raw texture, like thin condensations hanging in the air.
Sparse is the collection at its most restrained: the same cast modules, set far enough apart that the piece is mostly air. The balance between density and absence is the point of Bruma, and here the absence does the work — a long horizontal line that reads as light suspended rather than an object hung. Murano glass and electroplated aluminium. Metal in silver-plated or blackened nickel; glass in crystal pulegoso or smoky grey. Integrated proprietary LEDs at 2700K warm white, CRI>90, throwing 75% downwards and 25% up, dimmable by phase cut, switch, 1-10V or DALI. IP20. Lead time 10-14 working weeks.
