Luna pura, Occhio's first wireless luminaire, brings the magical power of Luna to any place – and makes it tangible at any time. Its innovative features go far beyond the usual. Thanks to the Occhio fireball technology and »color tune«, unique lighting moods can be created – from cool moonlight to romantic candlelight.
Luna pura can be switched, dimmed and its color temperature can be changed by touch control or via Occhio air. A pura is rarely alone: One Luna pura is fascinating – multiple Luna pura are a new dimension of luxury and ease of use. Several luminaires can be controlled together via air sync – as if by magic.
BRAND HIGHLIGHT
Self-taught lighting designer Axel Meise founded Occhio in 1999 in his native Munich. His vision, from the outset, was to enable others to be able to design their own homes; to democratise the design process. His belief is that good lighting equals a good quality of life, and has dedicated himself to pioneering new and better ways of lighting the spaces we live in.

DESIGNED BY
Axel Meise
Even as a teenager, Axel Meise built luminaires for his personal use. In the early 80s, he designed his first commercial luminaires while still studying mechanical engineering. He dropped out of his studies, turned his hobby into a profession and founded his first company 'Axel Meise Licht', which manufactured and distributed low-voltage halogen luminaires developed by him and partly together with his co-designer Christoph Kügler.
