Icosofà is a sofa designed by Roberto Lazzeroni for Ceccotti Collezioni and first launched in 2020. The frame is made from solid American walnut, while the body of the sofa is made from padded poplar plywood. It can be upholstered with fabric, leather or natural leather, creating a wide range of options for customisation, while the brass leg tips reflect the strong attention to detail that characterises this company.
It is available in two versions: a symmetrical design with a single seat depth, or an asymmetrical design with a double seat depth. Offering fabulous visual appeal thanks to its soft, sinuous forms, Icosofà gives a nod to the 1920s, reimagined as always in a contemporary style. The sumptuous seat cushion sits in dialogue with the suspended backrest, which is supported by three vertical elements. These are held together by a curved horizontal axis that provides the base for the backrest.
