The GJ 118 Series was originally designed for the American market in the late 1950s and produced by France & Son - owned by the Danish design manufacturer Poul Cadovius. The furniture was, delivered flat-packed as knockdown furniture for easy export, which was France & Son business idea and the main reason for their phenomenal success on the American market. Today, the furniture is delivered fully assembled. The Grete Jalk - GJ 118 series is available in oil-treated European Oak and American Walnut.
