The Drape Arm 1 Sconce is a single diffuser of handblown Czech glass suspended from a moveable arm. The glass diffusers are available in three shapes and in both “dipped” glass, featuring the SkLO double-dipped flame-polished mouth and “textured” glass, featuring a soft, frosted finish and subtle sculpted vertical ridges. They are suspended from the arm on a fabric-wrapped electrical cord. The exposed cord passes through the end of the arm and returns to the canopy at the wall. Solid brass construction throughout, the arm is hinged for a full 180-degree swing.

Available in two profile options, multiple opaque glass colors, and brass hardware finishes. Part of the SkLO + AvroKO collection – a collaboration between SkLO and the AvroKO Partners.

BRAND HIGHLIGHT

SkLO began in 2009 in a small town in the wine country of Northern California. The three founders felt a synergy when they first met, and SkLO reflects each of their different backgrounds and abilities. Pavel has a long history of working with the glassblowing tradition of his native Czech Republic. His love for and intuitive understanding of Czech glassblowing is the driving force behind the brand. Karen’s practice as a craft artist and jeweler has always had a focus on glass as a material, and she brings her point-of-view about the relationship between craft and design. Paul is a designer with an architect’s belief in simplicity and honesty in design. Together, they are dedicated to working within – and preserving – the Czech glassblowing tradition.
