The sofa’s inner wooden frame is padded after the best quality standards and the loose cushions are made with a foam core surrounded by down which makes them stable but, at the same time, soft. The stainless steel frame with a brushed surface with distinctive bends demonstrates Hans J. Wegner’s understanding of how to also work with this material. The CH102 sofa, which is part of the exclusive and versatile CH100 series, is an example of Wegner’s experiments with shapes and materials. In addition to the CH102 sofa, the series also consists of a lounge chair, a three-seater and a four-seater sofa, as well as two coffee tables.
