The rectangular Canope stretches the same idea along a table that seats a roomful. The top keeps its asymmetry — no two edges quite answer each other — which stops a long table reading as a corridor and encourages people to sit around it rather than along it. The grain runs concentrically across the surface, towards the centre. The base is a steel support structure clad in layered MDF, hand finished, pores sealed, sandblasted and lacquered, carrying the full width of the top and rising to meet its surface. The top is 40 mm MDF with directional veneer, brushed and stained. Some assembly required. Three sizes: 225 x 150, 255 x 160 and 285 x 170 cm, all 72 cm high. Available across Secolo's six wood finishes and the full lacquer range in matte or gloss.
