Bruma is Italian for mist, and the collection began with a still winter day — a soft haze arriving slowly until it had enveloped everything. The glass is worked by hand using the cast glass technique into semi-transparent modules with a slightly raw texture, like thin condensations hanging in the air. Cascade is the vertical reading of the collection — modules suspended at staggered heights down a long column of fine wires, so the piece belongs in a stairwell or a double-height hall rather than over a table. The illuminating profiles are positioned among the glass to a studied plan, and the semi-transparent material carries the light between shadow and glow rather than throwing it. Murano glass and electroplated aluminium. Metal in silver plated or blackened nickel; glass in crystal pulegoso or smokey grey. Integrated proprietary LEDs at 2700K warm white, CRI>90, throwing 75% downwards and 25% up, dimmable by phase cut, switch, 1-10V or DALI. IP20. Lead time 10-14 working weeks.
