Matteo Thun, born in Bolzano, Italy (1952), is a renowned architect and designer, famous for co-founding the influential Memphis Group with Ettore Sottsass in the 80s, known for eclectic, colorful designs. After studying architecture in Florence and teaching in Vienna, he founded his own Milan studio in 1984, later expanding into Matteo Thun + Partners, focusing on sustainable, timeless projects in hospitality, healthcare, and product design, emphasizing simplicity and human scale with partners like Antonio Rodriguez.
