Mårten Cyrén

Mårten Cyrén was born in Uppsala in 1958, but grew up in Orrefors in Småland where his father worked in the glass factory. He had Orrefors Glasbruk as his playground and the interest in glass and the glass industry has always been with him. His career in design started after graduating from art school in 1985. After studying interior architecture and furniture design, Mårten worked in several architectural offices as a consultant, and then decided to start his own office.
