Lukáš Novák was born in the town of Nový Bor, which is the world capital of glassmaking. He is an artist, a multidisciplinary designer with a huge passion for the arts, crafts and history. Novak perceives glass as a medium that is capable of transmitting emotions and thoughts through forms and stories.
His oeuvre is characterized by a high degree of formal precision and reduction, in which the technical complexity of the material is transformed into a concentrated visual experience. The objects oscillate between form and content, between physical presence and mental projection, opening questions concerning the very nature of the artistic object.
