The characteristics that outline the Syren collection remain intact even in this new proposal, articulated in a balance between softness and lightness. The frame made entirely of tubular metal serves as a support for the wide leather band that wraps around and contains the upholstered elements. The comfortable seat is from composed of a single structural cushion, voluminous and with a strong aesthetic presence. The backrest, on the other hand, is designed as a movable, soft cushion that conforms to the body for a feeling of total comfort. The metal frame, on the other hand, contrasts in lightness and slender profiles.
A contemporary rigor, drawing inspiration from the past, also defines this new member of the Syren family, revealing its personality in the details and finishes: the black painted metal frame, light to the eye but solid, supports the leather band and accommodates the seat and back cushion available in all the leathers and fabrics in the catalog, making Syren an ideal seat for refined residential interiors.
BRAND HIGHLIGHT
Frag is a family story that begins with great-grandfather Giovanni’s decision to become an entrepreneur while very young. Today’s Frag has new DNA following the entry of the fourth generation into the family business a few years ago. The president, Franco Di Fonzo, is now accompanied by his children Michele and Federica Di Fonzo, Product Manager and Marketing Manager, respectively. Michele and Federica joined the company after finishing their studies and embarking on their own professional careers, bringing their inherited passion and dedication with them, and added their innovative know-how to its reserves of knowledge and business skills to help the Frag brand along its path of growth and development.

Gabriele Buratti, architect and professor of Interior Design at the Faculty of Design of Politecnico di Milano (2003-2010), and Oscar Buratti, architect, form the architecture and design studio Buratti Architetti. The studio is transversally involved in projects of different scales, from the architecture of buildings and urban areas to interiors of houses and commercial spaces, from the design of furniture and lighting to the exhibition and showroom design, in an intense and varied professional path, in which themes, places and typologies, brands and people, materials and workmanship, mingle together contaminating one another. They design residential, commercial and industrial buildings, interventions in historic centers and renovations of complex buildings, villas and interiors of offices, dwellings, shops and showrooms, with the aim of combining culture and professional specialization, experimentation and technique, original vision and product quality.
