‘Gilbert’, designed by Sebastian Herkner, gives you the opportunity to design your own, contemporary version of the 19th century tête-à-tête: a sofa that allows people to sit at an angle and invites you in for a proper talk.

Linteloo was founded by Dutch designer Jan te Lintelo in 1993, inspired by his own concept of ‘the feelgood factor’; sofas and chairs that were inherently comfortable and relaxed.

Sebastian Herkner

Sebastian Herkner is a German designer and a graduate of HfG Offenbach University of Art and Design. In 2006, he founded his eponymous studio, where his work spans furniture, objects, interior architecture, and exhibition design. His approach is defined by a deep appreciation for traditional craftsmanship, combined with a curiosity for modern technologies and a bold exploration of colour, materiality, and texture.
